TERMS & CONDITIONS – Le402

TERMS OF USE OF THE STUDIO: monthly rental

By subscribing as a monthly member to rent Studio402, you agree to the following conditions.

SUBSCRIPTION

Your subscription is for a minimum of 3 months.

Thereafter, you can cancel at any time via your account on le402.com. Upon cancellation, you will no longer have access to the calendar as a “monthly member”, and will have to pay subsequent rentals by the hour, as an occasional member.

A security deposit is required at registration, which will be returned when you cancel your subscription. This deposit is ensure you respect the rental rules here presented.

Payment will be done recurrently via Paypal, every 30 days. If a payment is rejected, you will have to immediately correct the situation, or your subscription will end, and you will lose your security deposit (if this happens before the end of the 3 months).

A special code will also be emailed to you, so you can book your own booking times in the calendar without having to pay another security deposit. You can cancel your reservations without any charge up to 48h before booking time.

 

ACCESS
You will receive a code for the door and the alarm, which will be assigned exclusively to you. You will be responsible for it if you give it to someone else. This code opens the door, disarms the alarm and will be active during the hours you have reserved.

The studio will be available for you for the hours you booked online. A 5-minute delay is allocated to you before and after these hours, but no more. You must plan your preparation and cleaning time during those hours. If you exceed the reserved time, a block of 30 additional minutes will be charged to you at the cost of  $ 25/hr.

 

CLEANING

  • it is very important to leave the studio in the same condition when you leave as it was on your arrival
  • brooms, sweepers and mops are at your disposal near the sink
  • a cleaning fee will be deducted from your deposit if the place is not all cleaned up
  • always take off your shoes when going in, as the floor is painted white and gets dirty easily
  • the detailed rules will be emailed to you before your first booking

 

EQUIPMENT

You can use everything that is accessible in the studio: equipment, furniture, etc. or bring your own studio equipment. No camera is provided.

Strobes, softboxes, a universal flash trigger and several other equipment are at your disposal. Any breakage will obviously be charged and deducted from your security deposit. If you do not know how to use the equipment, ask for an introductory course with us before your shoot ($).

 

NOISE
The space is shared with a coworking space on the other side, and it’s not soundproofed.

If you rent during the week, between 9am and 5pm, it is important to keep the noise / music to a minimum and limit the amount of people in the studio at the same time, so as not to disturb those who work next door. In the evening or weekend, noise is not a problem.

CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE STUDIO: occasional member

By booking Studio402, you agree to the following conditions.

BOOKING

You can book the desired hours via the le402.com website. When you book online, the hours booked is the time when the studio will be available for you. A  5-minute gap is allocated to you before and after these hours, but no more. You must plan your preparation and cleaning time during those hours. If you exceed the reserved hours, a block of 30 additional minutes will be charged to you at the cost of $ 25/hr.

You can cancel without any charge up to 48 hours before the time of booking. You can do it through your account on le402.com.

TERMS OF USE : Virtual office

By subscribing to Virtual Office Service, you agree to the following terms.

 

The service is offered for individuals or registered companies. One subscription is required PER company.

The service is on a monthly basis and does not requires any commitment, it is possible to cancel the subscription at any time, via your account on le402.com. Following the cancellation, any letter / parcel in your name will be returned to the sender with the mention “moved”.

Upon subscription, a registration fee of $ 25 will be charged. These fees will cover the cost of scans, deliveries or future storage. When your balance drops to $0, you will be notified by email and will need to purchase a new pre-paid plan. This plan is not refundable in case of cancellation of the service.

 

COMPANY NAMES

It is your responsibility to send us, at the time of subscription, all the commercial / legal names of the company, as well as the shareholders / owners who could receive mail in their name. Any mail with a name that is NOT on the list will be sent back to the sender.

You must also notify us by email if, during your subscription, other names are added, or if your address changed. We do NOT receive changes you only make in your account.

 

CUSTOM FEES

The delivery of parcels requiring the payment of custom fees is not advisable, because we cannot pay fees exceeding the balance of your delivery plan.

 

HOW IT WORKS

If you choose the Pickup option:

When mail arrives for you, you will be notified by email.
You can then pick it up Monday to Thursday, between 9:30 and 4pm, and on Fridays, between 9am and noon (except holidays).

We keep your letters for you free of charge for 7 business days ($ 1/day thereafter) and packages, for 3 business days ($ 1 / package / day thereafter).

Each subscriber has a box identified with his name. It is possible to pick up your mail yourself or send someone to pick it up for you.

NOTE that the space is open, and the lockers are also accessible to other users of the virtual service. No identification is required from people who come to pick up the mail. It is therefore not advisable to have sensitive or valuable documents delivered to our offices.

If you choose the Delivery option:

When letters arrive for you, they will be sent to the address indicated at registration. A 0.50$ fee + stamp cost will be deducted from your delivery plan for each shipment, and you will be notified by email when time comes to buy a new one.

If we receive packages, an email will be sent to you to find out what type of delivery you want.

If you have chosen the Scan option:

By choosing this option, you authorize us to open the letters for you. When we receive it, we will notify you by email at the address indicated during registration, and send you an PDF image of the letter.

A 1$ fee per page will be deducted from your delivery plan, and you will be notified by email when time comes to buy a new one. It is possible to ask to deliver the letters as well after, simply indicate it to us by email when you register.
